Many of you have asked us to go to Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltics over the past several years and with the fantastic itinerary offered in 2008 by Holland America we will honor this departure as our 2008 Quilt Celebration! We’ll cruise on Holland America Line’s beautiful ms Rotterdam, an intimate ship carrying only 1300 passengers.

Our classes are held during our three scenic cruising days. As usual, we bring you a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by six of the most award winning, renown instructors in the world of quilting:

Alex Anderson, Joen Wolfrom, Elly Sienkiewicz,
Christine Porter, Jane Sassaman and Velda Newman

While in port, explore the historic ports of call or sample the famed North Atlantic seafood. Haven’t eaten mussels or herring? This is the place! Or relax in our floating hotel….why not try the spa? Most importantly, you have the opportunity to explore unique ports of call, such as St. Petersburg, Russia. Take a shore excursion to The Hermitage Museum to explore the rich imperial past. From the port city of Warnemunde, Germany tour into Berlin or while in Estonia take a walking tour of Tallinn’s Old Town. Whatever you decide to do, this will be a “trip of a lifetime!”

You absolutely must book early as this trip will sell out fast. We have had a list of quilters interested in booking this trip even before it was organized. Bring a friend, your spouse or your family - non-quilters are always welcome to join us!  They have many activities to pursue while you are in class!

We can’t wait to see you in Rotterdam!

Best wishes,
Alex Anderson, Joen Wolfrom, Elly Sienkiewicz, Christine Porter, Jane Sassaman and Velda Newman
